This spider was spinning her web just outside the entrance to our lodge. I couldn't get my camera to focus on it, so my travel companion and sister-from-another-mister-and-mother Mai held up her pillow to the right of the spider web. For some reason it helped, my camera found the spider, and I took this shot. The Amazonian locals thought we were spectacularly weird for holding up a pillow in the rain to photograph a single spider. Totally worth it.
