In the early 1600s, peasants in the Gudbrandsdal valley ambushed an
army of Scottish mercenaries, who were crossing Norway by foot to
Sweden. Legend has it the Scots spent the night before the battle in
this farm in Sel. The farm itself is more than 500 years old.
